Cream Wafers
Ingredients
for wafers |

| 1 cup | butter |
| 2 cup | flour |
| 0.33 cup | whipping cream |
| 0.5 cup | sugar |
for filling |

| 0.25 cup | butter (softened) |
| 1 tsp | vanilla |
| 0.75 cup | powdered sugar |
| 1 jar | food coloring (optional) |
Steps
1) Mix butter, cream, and flour then cover and chill
2) Roll about 1/3 of dough at 1/8 inch thick on cloth covered board
3) Keep remaining dough chilled
4) Cut into rounds
5) Transfer to wax paper covered with sugar
6) Place on ungreased cookie sheet and prick with a fork 4 times
7) Bake 7-9 minutes at 375 until set (not brown) and let cool
8) Cream all filling ingredients until smooth and fluffy
9) Color (optional)
